I defected to Starwood a couple of years ago due to my travel patterns and with some upcoming travel in both Eastern Washington, Idaho and Montana I decided to check the status of my HHonors account. The automated system said my account number was invalid so I spoke to an agent who said my 19K points were forfeited ( ) but I could reactivate the account immediately. My questions are these: Should I have mentioned to her that I am Gold with Starwood to see if she offers any match or other promos? I'm staying in Spokane and Missoula next month and was hoping to find out what the DT locations are like in each. Any feedback is much appreciated.
