I have to disagree with you about NW’s site. They show code-shares regularly, which, if you saw the other thread specifically on this subject, CO.com almost never does. And they used to. NW’s site also lets you choose to check for mileage upgrade awards (only good if you’re a member of their program), which you cannot do on CO.com.

There are so many different ways now to get to Munich w/Skyteam (AF, AZ, NW/KLM), but CO.com shows nothing. Orbitz and the others show these flights as well as availability on CO flights to AMS, CDG, etc. CO, which seems to be all about enhancing revenue these days, is missing out on my booking fee, and my flying on CO metal.

Restricting choice is not an enhancement.
