Contrary to most insurance policies taken out by BA FTers, I actually need to buy some travel insurance for it's intended purpose (unusual as that may seem!). The trouble I'm having is how to get some BA miles out of it as well.

It seems that the BA Travel Insurance is now fully divorced from BA and is run by Preferential Direct. My existing BA annual policy is up for renewal soon; and there's no mention of any BA miles etc. I've also had a look on Tesco's website and can't see any Clubcard points offers there for their policy.

Any suggestions where to get an annual family policy; preferably with reasonable cancellation cover (i.e. to cover J-tix - say, £3-5K min per person)? I'm assuming that cover for BA miles isn't too important - as they're refundable before starting your journey anyway.

If I can earn some BA miles either directly or indirectly from such a purchase, that would be good ISTR originally the BA policy offered some miles for taking it out.
