Regarding BA56 JNB-LHR (747-400 I believe):
I'm in seat 48G, my right hand (isle facing) armrest will not move up. The guy in 47G OTOH can move his right hand armrest up and easily stretch his legs out into the isle (annoying to the FAs if done at an innapropriat time). What's the score here? Does the guy in 47G know something I don't?
A details obsessed enquiring mind (ideal for my job, BTW) needs to know.

There are some rows on all aircraft that allow this.They are to allow disabled passengers to be lifted into their seats easier.
