I have been monitoring AS 699 all week (the last SEA-YYC flight of the day) and I consider myself relatively lucky that 2 weeks ago I arrived just 20 minutes late. This week AS 699 was:

Monday, 2 hours late
Tuesday, 1 hour late
Wednesday, 15 mins late
Thursday, 40 mins late
Friday, 1 hr, 20 mins late

Since this flight arrives at midnight, a 1 or 2 hour delay is obviously not the way to entice pax to fly your airline again since most of us have to work the next day.

Don't get me wrong, I am a strong AS booster but even I would shy away from this flight if I had to work the next day. Even during the season when AS 699 is LAX-YYC non-stop, it is chronically late. In December, we arrived into YYC over 2 hours late, I got home at just before 3 am and had to take a morning flight out at 8 am. I was not a happy camper.
