After I read about some of the itineraries on the forum, I started collecting my miles for a USA to Asia trip last year. I've accumlated enough miles to start my 2 week itinerary.


So, my trip would start out with the Raffles seat on SQ airlines. Since, I'm leaving from EWR to SIN, it should only cost me 90K. Now, my plan is to see how I can maximize my miles. I've read about people (here) being able to stop in HKG and BKK for the same 90K miles. How would that be possible? Are the layovers of 2-3 days possible?


Last question: How is the JFK to BKK flight?

I was thinking of the following:
EWR-SIN (non-stop in Raffles)
SIN-BKK
BKK-JFK (or should I come back to EWR via SIN?)

Can I stick HKG or any other city in there somewhere?
