I just completed three legs on an Aeroplan award ticket over the past two weeks and the only consistency was inconsistency. On the first leg YYZ-EZE the boarding pass read EXECUTIVE/AFFAIRES AEROPLAN across the top, and there was no status showing on the boarding pass [in the Remarks box where it usually shows, or on the larger part with one's account number which also did not show up]. On the return leg EZE-YYZ only EXECUTIVE/AFFAIRES showed up and not AEROPLAN. However, my baggage tag had my old SE status designator, which is the status I held when making the original booking. On a further segment, YYZ-YEG, again only EXECUTIVE/AFFAIRES but no AEROPLAN. On both, nothing in the Remarks box. In the recent past, I have noticed that AE boarding passes had the class and AEROPLAN along the top, but this may have been dropped within the past week, as my original departure with this wording was May 12th and the two newer segments without it were on May 18th and 19th.

As I have never looked at the manifest, I cannot comment on that aspect.
