Why bother reminding them? Just board early.

When I am in 8D on the 757 I am always #1 in line (since I have no overhead bin space and must poach Row 9's) and I have yet to have a GA do anything more then run my BP and thank me.

You want to be #1, then be #1. But letting F and UGS on first before the checked-bags folks will make the boarding process longer then waiting 30-60 seconds. And even letting them on first, you'll still have plenty of time to enjoy your pre-departure drink and have no worries about someone putting their bag in the F bins.

And if the delay of game by not letting the checked-bag folks on first causes issues with metering, well you can have a second round.
