I wish to apologise for the juvenile Biggles joke. It was an old prep school one (Bristol Grammar Lower School for the technically minded) I can recall and the opportunity was too good to let it go.

Comments along the lines of "so you were at school with Biggles then" will not be gratefully received.

Someone on another aviation web board that sometimes gets mentioned here uses it as their handle.
