Estoy de acuerdo con otros miembros que un empleado de United usó un programa para traducir. Mis amigos de México dicen México DF o DF en vez de Ciudad de México como el nombre de su capital.
The email was sent in English and Spanish -- I think they included the Spanish to be "cute" since it was touting Mexico City, and with the growing prevalence of Spanish in the U.S., my guess is that a lot of people understood it!
I've heard Mexico DF and DF as well, but what I've never heard is "desde Los Ángeles a Ciudad de México"...there's usually a "LA" in front of "Ciudad de México"!!!
