I live in Ann Arbor and I'm having my wedding here in a couple of months, so I have been investigating hotels. Campus Inn is the best choice in Ann Arbor. You can't beat the location - walking distance to both campus and downtown.

The Ypsilanti Marriott is a good hotel - not the best Marriott I've ever seen but the service is good and the rooms are clean and decent. That's where people are staying for the wedding - the Campus Inn was booked.

The former Crowne Plaza is now the Kensington Court - seems to have gone downhill since it went independent. The parking lot always seems to be empty (I pass by it on my way home every day). Next door there is a Holiday Inn Express that is an average Holiday Inn Express; they're located right off I-94 next to the big regional mall - ten minutes from campus and downtown.
