Re: the last question about BOS, I don't know if they took away one of the lines. I used the kiosk to check in, what a mess that was as well. There should be a common sense test before one is allowed to use those machines. But, I digress.

My flight was headed out of gate 27, so I went from the ticketing area towards security. There was a long line, with a sign in front that said "First and Business Class" - I thought the long line was for coach, and that I could get into a different line, but no dice, it was the "elite" line...but, not well marked at all. Just to the left, there was a sign for registered travelers, again not well marked. But, 2 guys wearing polo shirts with the registered traveler logo were manning that area, along with occasionally walking down the line to inform people that it was first/business only - not sure about elites, there was that AA/OneWorld sign there as well.

The 1 registered traveler I saw was escorted into the security area, but I couldn't see where he went. While we're on the subject, someone should also tell the TSA to lengthen the "Tables/counters" before the x-ray machines so that it is easier for people to unload their stuff - would save a bit of time, IMO.

For those STL residents on the forum, former New 4 anchor Julius Hunter was on the flight from BOS. Minor celebrity sighting...
