Went into BOS the other night on AA out of STL. Quite a ride for the last 10 minutes or so before landing. What miserable weather, I guess a Nor'easter in May. Windy, rainy, foggy and cold...great landing by the pilot, though. Could feel the intense rudder action all the way through final. Had some pretty good bumps after takeout, as well as at cruise, on the return yesterday. Outbound flight was 2.5 hours late, BOS airport was still a zoo at midnight.

Flying out yesterday, there is an elite line, but it was long and only feeds one metal detector. Also saw a registered traveler line for the 1st time, but only 1 person used it in the 20-30 minutes I was in the security line.

Re: the recent comments on F service. Outbound was mediocre at best, pretty disinterested F/A. Beef short ribs were really dry, rest of dinner was ok. Much better return, great FA and the chicken dinner was surprisingly decent.
