Public transport from LGA to 50th?
Looking forward to my upcoming NYC trip.

What's the best public transportation from LGA airport to midtown (east, between Lexington and 3rd)? I know there's a bus that drops you off around 102nd street or so. Where do you pick up the bus at LGA? Then what?

Any details any New Yorkers (or frequent visitors) can provide would be invaluable! Should we buy some kind of public transportation pass for the whole weekend?

We're flying out of EWR, so I imagine we just grab the SkyTrain somewhere.
