In all likelihood, the stewardess was just had a bad attitude....that is not a valid excuse, and you should complain to AA, but stop with the "It's because I'm a minority"

It pretty obvious to me you dont understand because no have never experienced any form of discrimination, but try not to belittle the experiences/reactions of others.
Unless perhaps you believe it doesnt exist in the USA.
Heres an example for you: three weeks ago I was at Tampa Bay Downs Racetrack along with six other friends all seated reading our racing forms. This woman ( no lady) comes along looks at all of us and then walks up to the only minority in the group as says " I left my ( Racing) form in my seat here, did you steal it? "
