I understand the frustration, but on the other hand, why would there be a use for baggage constraints if these were not applied? I think what you are saying is that the baggage allowances should be higher than they are. Still, I think that the current allowances are sufficient for typical travel and it seems fair enough to me to charge for extra weight - like we all pay more for added space, flexibility, etc.

What seems strange is that they were not able to do everything in FLR and route the luggage directly to BKK to avoid dealing with the luggage in FRA.
