Legitimate question: many travel agencies (including online ones, and evidently Expedia) don't pass on the passenger's contact info to the airline, but put the agency's own number in the contact field to indicate to the airline that they want to be the only ones to communicate--and maintain a relationship--with the customer. The PNR gets queued to the agency, for the agency to call the customer, and not many do so (but boy to they get piss@d if the airline calls the customer direct!)
