A related question in this old thread. I'm getting closer to my east Maui loop ride (Kahului to Hana and back). Does anyone know if there is a pattern with the weather on the northern route to Hana? Specifically, is it more likely to be rainy/dry in the morning/afternoon? Do the winds pick up in the afternoon (and for bonus points, what is their prevailing direction)?

I'd appreciate any info. you might have.
