Planed was the brand new 10 seat F configuration , and this now is sqeduled to MEL-HKT-BKK for that day ! I thought the LH codeshare does not allow the use of the very old aircraft.
It may not be that particular aircraft that is out of service but with one aircraft out, the rotation of aircraft will be messed up and may have widespread effect.
MUC gets old config a lot. The only routes that are consistent in terms of getting better aircrafts are FRA and LHR.
