Chantal Baril, President and CEO, Air Canada Ground Handling Services, announces the following organizational changes:

John Segaert, currently Senior Director, Human Resources, is appointed General Manager, Toronto Airport. This appointment is effective June 1, 2005. John's current Human Resources' responsibilities and, in particular, the HRO (Human Resources Outsourcing) project to Hewitt & Associates will require his continued involvement. As a result, John will be transitioning to his new role during the month of June.

In his new capacity, John will be responsible for all aspects of Air Canada's customer service and performance at Pearson International Airport, reporting directly to the President and CEO, Air Canada Ground Handling Services.

Mike Welch, currently in this role, is leaving Air Canada to pursue a career with JetBlue Airways as Director, Boston Airport. We thank Mike for his contribution and extend him our best wishes in his new position.
