actually, best was about 10 years ago on an evening (7:30 pm) flight from Norfolk to Atlanta on Delta---it was a cold plate in coach (not a special meal), and it was just great--a scoop of chicken salad, a scoop of cottage cheese and a scoop of potato salad--tomato wedges etc--each one fresh and good, just perfect for the time of day, length of flight, etc etc. Best in business class-Air Canada from YVR to OSA 2 years ago--the bento box was TERRIFIC--much better than NW from ORD-NRT (I'm certain that Japanese food in the Vancouver area would naturally be better than that in Chicago). I also liked flying Korean Airlines in business class 2 years ago--the food was good, plentiful, and interesting.
