Before this tone has gone any sourer in tone, I'd like to actually return to the OP and say this:

I am delighted that you chose British Airways, and hope that after all these charges and taxes you have a wonderful trip.

To you others - please warn me when you wake up thinking that BAA and BA are one and the same organisation. I nearly bit a piece out of my cup and it was painful.

Many of us wish that British Airways United, American, Air France even ran Heathrow as it is inconceivable that they could do any worse then the present owner of the shambles that is our No 1 airport.
