LHR-MAD-BCN-LHR on BA/IB for $274.16 - great deal?
Hi folks,
Question 1: I stumbled upon a Coach fare from Expedia.com for the following:
Thursday, 2_ Sep: BA 458 LHR - MAD
Monday, 2_ Sep : UX 2006 MAD - BCN (Air Europa)
Saturday 0_ Oct: BA 7076 (codeshare: IB 4184) MAD - LHR
Total Fare (incl. taxes): $274.16
Is this a good deal for end of September period? We're already getting killed on our SFO-LHR fare so I hope our Spain excursion here isn't overpriced. Please let me know if you think we could do better.
Question 2: what's Coach on BA and IB like for these intra-European flights? (never step foot inside one before) Do they serve food/snack or Buy On Board? Would we be able to request bulkhead seats in advance or are these reserved for Elite members? (like in Star Alliance)
