I completely agree. If I ran an airline, I would do everything I could to honor a seat assignment, but it is not always feasable. When I go to the movies, I don't storm out and demand a refund if there is no aisle seat available. You aren't even guaranteed to get seats together for your movie partner, but we just accept it and move on. Reguardless, Westcoaster's seats are still preassigned (prior to boarding) unlike WN anyway. I never understood what peoples obsession was with the front of the plane. Its almost like people think the closer to first class they are, the greater the status they have.
