I booked it on points almost a year ago for a trip for my kids, when it was a category 6, but had not yet ordered the certificate. However, when I explained they credited me with the extra points to cover the difference. They arrive tomorrow!

Sadly it's true. The CC is one of my favorite hotels and I have always thought that it was a Cat 7 but was glad that they had listed it a a 6. I will, however, give up the additional points to stay there.
