No, I meant back into full-time service - I was just curious if BA now were to actually relent and said 'Ok Bearded One, you can have them, they didn't really belong to us anyways, as was a heavily govt. funded development a-typical of the optimism prevalent in the 60's, like the Apollo missions', could they then be re-brought into service, or are they too decrepit now, and would have to rebuild from scratch.

My simple mind still doesn't understand either why a rich economy like ours in 2005 couldn't build a newer & safer version to what we built in the midst of practically a post-war Britain in the 60's.
