I am sending away my non-English speaking parents for a NYC group tour tomorrow. The last time I was in LGA was about 15 years ago so I can't be too much help. I can barely remeber the Big Apple does have "complicated" airports. I did visit the port authority website and checked out the maps and directions but I still have questions. If you NYC frequenters can help me out here with detailed directions so I can explain to them and write them a bilingual note, I will be very appreciative.

They are flying AA (AUS-LGA) and the tour guide will meet them at the baggage claim area. So I need to let them know how to get from Terminal D(?) to Baggage Claim.
1. Which level is terminal D(2nd level?)? Baggage claim Level(ground)?
2. Can they walk from the terminal to the baggage claim or do they have to take shuttle bus or train, such as ORD?
