I just asked my friend and he said he commented this One Meal thing to the Inflight Manager and she was duly embarrassed about it.

He connected in from BA and he was awake throughout the 6+ hour flight..listening to the "TOP #1s of the UK Chart from 1950 to now" on I.C.E.

He said EK served breakfast and that was it. Though it was a good breakfast, he felt that EK should have at least one other meal just prior to landing at BKK.

There was no inflight amenity kit either.
