I completely agree with this. Alaska makes this part of the deal when it lures people away from WN with the promise of pre-assigned seats. I understand that seat assignments might need to be changed by AS before the flight, but it better not happen more than once or twice or you might as well just fly WN. There also better be a very good reason for the change (such as air marshal request or an equipment change).
