I have the same problem. Noticed it a month or two ago, My workaround has been to print the "view reservation" page which does list my room type and smoking preferences correctly. Wastes a bit of extra paper, since the view page isn't printer friendly. Would be nice if they fixed it. Must admit I didn't report the problem. So guess I can't expect much...
