So I get to the gate to Board and they announce the following right after boarding F (757)

"Because almost everyone on the flight is 100,000 mile flyer we are going to board by row starting at the back"

They then proceded to call row 32-36 , etc. Now I watched as people walked by me to board and I would be suprise if there were more that 10 1K on this flight. I sure saw alot of zone 3 and 4 cards.

This "new" boarding procedure took longer than ever. We were late taking off by about 10 minutes. Do these GA just make this up as the go along?
