Thank you very much for the info. AF seems to be different from OneWorld airlines that apparently upgrade you whenever possible (at least I was upgraded several times although cockroach class -- uh, coach class -- was not full).

So I should prepare myself for a night on a cramped seat -- any advice as to where the best location is on the 777-300ER?

Incidentally, my return date (June 6th) will be D-day for FB and it will be interesting to see how this is implemented in PEK. I'll report on that.
