They seem to trade in bulk (2-4) for 25-30,000 miles per on CC, which is less than you would expect. I guess it is the relative value of the miles for things like hotel nights (when you have a confirmed reservation), and the relatively few people with 80-100,000 miles to trade for VIPs.
