Hi,

I need to stay in Manhattan (pref. midtown) on a Sunday night next month. I was thinking that I might be able to pick up a good discount on a room, but these don't seem to be forthcoming.

Perhaps i'm looking in the wrong place, but so far the best i've been able to do is the W on Lexington at $199, but I then read all the reviews and don't want to stay there, or the Michelangelo at $240. Otherwise the Courtyard Marriott at Times Square seems to get great reviews at tripadvisor for $179.

Can anyone do better?

edited to add - found some very good marriott rates - code M41 & you need a marriott rewards number, but for the Sunday night only the hotels run at around $179
