A friend of mine recently flew DXB-BKK on EK's new 777-300ER. Though he enjoyed the ICE system tremendously, and nearly got out of the plane drunk.. (a whole bottle of Dom Perginon to himself..!). He said that for a 6+ hour flight, EK only served breakfast immediately after take-of from DXB and nothing else for the duration of the flight. Nothing. Nada. Not even sandwiches. And this was in First Class he said.
