I've had a pick up line and a shut down all at the same time

Last year while flying between MEM & ATL, I was chatting with a young guy sitting next to me. We discussed our layovers, we both had very long ones. He said, "I'd love to buy you a drink or dinner, its too bad we don't have even longer layovers or we could rent a motel room."
I told him I was married, his response was "so?" I told him my age, and he chokingly responded with "Do you have a daughter?"
