Gordon Ramsay is expensive, but I agree with RJB it is good value. I had an excellent meal there last month; it compares favourably with such places as Taille Vent and Tour d'Argent in Paris. La Gavroche in Brook Street, W1 is also worth considering. Petrus in The Berkeley Hotel in Knightsbridge is another good choice.

If you're happy to head out of central London , try La Trompette in Chiswick.
