When the hawaii turns first came out, the FAs complained about it. Rather than having an overnight, they would now fly out and back in the same day. Now, they realize they get a lot of flying in for one day (=$$$$) and this results in more days off with better $$$ in their pocket. Very senior trips, but since they are one day trips they are easy to trade out and pick up, so you might see young'uns on these flights as well.
