I've watched Raymond a fair bit- always on AA as it has not been compelling enough for me to spend the time at home to watch it. While Ray Romano is actually quite funny, and Doris Roberts is a hoot, I find the show, overall, to be very formulaic. The actions are very predictable, and the show is built around people insulting each other. This seems to work in the Simpson's, but doesn't fare as well here, IMO.
