It really burns me that someone can spend thousands of dollars to achieve an elite level loyally on one airline SPECIFICALLY to avail themselves of a promised benefit, have that benefit reduced or made more expensive, then be told that the benefit was "free".
Our elite status was by no means free. What I expect from an airline is to keep up it's part of that financial deal...or refund us some of the money we spent to get that status.
