I am getting married later this year at the Grand Hyatt Tokyo, and have been informed by the wedding planner at the hotel that GP points can not be earned for weddings. Why is it that meetings are eleigible but weddings are not? Is this normal? I feel a little annoyed shelling out over $20K and not even earning 1 GP.

Any thoughts?...
