Mrs. Yogimax and I are traveling on a NW award ticket (JFK-AMS-WAW-AMS-JFK) in August. Outbound is coach, return business class.

I had previously called NW for seat assignment on the outbound, receiving seat assignments for JFK-AMS, but not AMS-WAW.

Yesterday, I called for seat assignments on the return flight and was assigned seats AMS-JFK.

Today, I checked my NW record and lo and behold, we have been assigned seats 2A,C WAW-AMS, but no seats assigned AMS-WAW.

Can I assume we were assigned the seats on the return because we are in business class, but seats are not assigned in coach?
