I don't mind having a nice conversation here and there, but I tend to avoid them primarily because I'm not very good at stopping them. I also cherish my alone time on the plane as it's one of the few chances I get to do some uninterrupted luxury reading or enjoy my iPod. I also find myself being hit on by men my father's age at times, so I'm especially wary of certain seat partners (which I realize is probably unfair).
