Recently been to JFK on 113 and 183 and each time there has been no one in front of us.

As I was in J I was pretty much first in line and outside in about 3 mins.

However, sometimes half of the INS people fail to turn up so you have 1 or 2 people to service the entire plane until the US pax have gone and then non-US get sent over to the US only queue.

Finally, just to get you in the mood, BA put 1 or 2 people at the end of the queue before you get to the INS officer. These people are here to make you feel very frustrated as they do square root of F.A. and generally send you to another queue that you don't want to be in.

If there is one thing we Brits know how to do, it is how to Queue!!! and we don't need some stupid US lounge attendant to show us how we should do it
