Brussels is a disaster from a yield perspective on weekends or non EU parliament periods, the Hyatt was available in the lower € 80 region most of the time on weekends and when I stayed there , it was frequently deserted.
The location was not bad but 1-2 kilometres too far down Avenue Louise, the Conrad and Hilton were in a much better location, not to mention the other upscale hotels like Amigo or The Stanhope.
But I also think that it is really sad, did not read any official statement from Hyatt yet, so if the GPP Concierge could update us, if the property is really gone for good or if Hyatt is looking to purchase / or operate any other property in Brussels, it would be much appreciated from my point of view as a frequent traveler to the area...
