Firstly, maybe this could be advantagous for routes to Las Vegas?

Although sadly it seems a direct service is not on the cards, I would be amazed if BA don't start some kind of codeshare with AA on certain flights from DFW to LAS connecting with their LGW flight. It's the routing I've done for the last year or so and really conveinient as AA's flights out of LAX are not that frequent.

Anyway, we never got tier points on AmWest flights anyhow....
