LA to Halifax and Return by Train

I don't know if TB is the right place for this. If not, please move to the right place.

I wish I could afford this trip:

Each fall, the American Association of Private Railroad Car Owners (AAPRCO) operates special Convention Trains to fascinating destinations in the US or Canada. This year, the 28th Annual Convention Train will depart Chicago, and travel over rare mileage routes through scenic countryside across parts of Indiana, Michigan, Ontario, Quebec, Maine and New Brunswick to Halifax, Nova Scotia and return.

Our private cars, Sleeper Pacific Sands and Party Car Pony Express, will depart Los Angeles, CA on Tuesday, September 27th attached to Amtrak's Southwest Chief for the trip to Chicago where we will join the 20 - 25 other private cars that will make up the Chicago portion of the Convention Train. After a days layover to assemble the train we will depart Chicago on Sunday, October 1st. During our travels to Halifax nightly stops will include London, ON; Montreal, QC (where we will be joined by private cars from the East Coast); McAdam, NB; Truro, NS and Sydney, NS.
