My point is that I didn't hit anything with the car. It had less than 2000 miles on it AND it was a rear tire. Normally, if a rear tire blows, it would be the result of a tire defect or someone hitting something to cause an internal breakage in the tire. Usually if you hit something and have a tire blow apart, it would have to hit the front tire and then the back tire. I would think that I would remember hitting something that would cause that type of tire blowout.

Besides, your comment on "if you didn't damage the tire, who did?" is kinda crazy. With 2,000 miles on the car, my guess would be at least 15-20 rentals and about the same number of rental company service people driving the car. I guess it could be as many as 30 other people. Does that answer who did???

It is the same logic I used with National.
