I was forwarded the offer by a colleague, and registered/faxed Star Alliance on 18th April.

I've tried calling the number on the confirmation screen (0800 546 547) today, but it appears dead. I called BMI DC direct, but the person I spoke to knew nothing, and said they had no numbers for Star Alliance...

Given the posts earlier in this thread, and the fact that I was not targeted, is there any point in trying to chase this?

I'll be particularly annoyed if I don't get status match. I booked flights with BMI for our wedding anniversary on the assumption that I'd be getting lounge access...
