That's true. But it's not unique to AA, is it? I doubt Southwest's passengers are more or less cooperative in surrendering their trash.
I don't think this one is rocket science. At Southwest it's everybody's job to pick up trash anywhere they see it, any time. At AA it's not (apparently). Isn't it only logical why Southwest has the cleaner airplanes?
